The Scenic Storytelling of Guy Shield
With an arsenal of pens and inks, Melbourne-based illustrator Guy Shield creates drawings that are playfully composed, light-hearted and rich with scenic storytelling. After spending a childhood littering the back of his schoolbooks with drawing and doodles, Shield went on to study Communication Design and work a decade in publishing. He now works as a freelance illustrator for Jacky Winter. He has also set an impressive standard for how designers should propose to their partners.
