4D Sculptures of Cut Glass and Refracted Light by Jed Malitz

Jed Malitz after graduating with a bachelor’s of arts degree (centered on math and computer science) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, pursued a career in information technology for the next 25 years. During his time in IT, his responsibilities frequently included investigating the features and limitations of various technologies.

In 2011, Malitz ended his IT career to dedicate himself to art, and to focus on creating the ethereal forms he had dreamed of earlier. He live-modeled three figures from human subjects, and completed building their sculptures in 2012.

These forms are made entirely of redirected light, do not physically exist, and reveal otherwise hidden perspectives of their subjects. The entire subjects in cut glass thus project their entire hidden selves as pure light, in essence, revealing their souls.

You need the art in order to love the life. We guarantee you that!

Surreal World of Animals by Tomasz ZaczeniukTomasz Zaczeniuk...

Surreal World of Animals by Tomasz Zaczeniuk

Tomasz Zaczeniuk (featured previously) born 1978 is a Polish photographer and digital artist from Lodz.

…Why do we take photographs? To arouse emotions, all the good ones and bad ones, to wake up our memories, our imagination and hidden feelings, to take a brake for a moment in everyday’s hurry.

Pure photography became quickly not enough for me.

I was seeking for another way to show what is hiding in my imagination. You can say that reality was boring for me. So I fell in love with digital photography and postprocessing, photomanipulation.

Two most powerful things affecting our senses are: image and sound. For me it’s a harmonious whole. It’s strange but I can not think about the image without music. It’s impossible. Everything around us is changing. All we have, are our memories and dreams. It’s important, to make them special and unique.
