Paintings Explore the Bond Between a Girl and Her Giant...

Paintings Explore the Bond Between a Girl and Her Giant Dog

Jeong Woojae was born in Korea in 1983. He has a BA in Fine Art at Chugye University and an MA in Fine Art from Hong-Ik University. He paints with such realistic details that, upon quick glance, these oil paintings could be mistaken for photographs. However, the painterly qualities quickly reveal themselves in the form of clean brushstrokes, incredibly vivid color and light, and a disproportionately gigantic dog.

The astounding work of Ann CarringtonEnglish artist Ann...

The astounding work of Ann Carrington

English artist Ann Carrington uses hundreds, sometimes thousands of everyday objects to create awe-inspiring mosaics.

Not everyone looks at buttons, safety pins or metal coins and sees art, but for Ann Carrington, “all objects are saturated with cultural meaning. Mundane objects like knives, gloves, shoes, shells and tin cans come with their own ready-made histories.” Whenever she decides on what material she’s going to use for a certain work, there are certain reasons for her choice (via odditycentral).

World Without Gravity in Paintings by Cinta Vidal Agulló

Cinta Vidal Agulló aka (Cintapinta) born 1982 is an illustrator and painter from Barcelona, Spain. In her latest paintings series “Gravitant”, Catalonian artist wants to show that we live in one world, but we live in it in very different ways, playing with everyday objects and spaces, placed in impossible ways to express that many times, the inner dimension of each one of us does not match the mental structures of those around us. via
