The Red Chair is a traveling photography born in North Carolina circa 1999 series that involves a chair that is red.  This traveling chair is based in Arlington, VA (formerly Raleigh, NC) and is up for new adventures.  The chair is a ladder back style chair that has been painted red several times over the years.  The series represents what is good and fun about photography.  An opportunity to explore and see new places.  In addition, to meeting new people along the way.  The series was created by photographer Chris Rief.  Chris has roots in Raleigh, NC, Greensboro, NC, Arlington, VA, Palm Beach, FL and Washington DC.
