David Cristobal Lozano (born in Madrid in 1979) studied at the Fine Arts University of Madrid. He decided to become a teacher in a primary school and stopped painting for quite a long time. David moved to Milan and fell in love and since then he went back to the arts….

He started to draw because he was very attracted to the interpretations of words, concepts or ideas, that came directly from himself, or were inspired by other people or artists. Always trying to create a personal style.  Working in a school for many years helped him to learn a lot lot about  illustrated children’s books and novels  via

11.19.13            John Nash Nobel Laureate

A few weeks ago someone asked me if I ever saw John Nash. I do see him from time to time. I was in the middle of pulling my lens cap off for the walk to the car. I turned the corner and standing at the elevator was John Nash. We spoke for few, he complained about the coffee in the math department and said I could take a few shots.

Last night I was having a conversation with a Professor about the shots. I told him I wouldn’t use any of the photos where John was looking at me because he looks crazy. His response was “Ted……….. he is crazy!”

Landscape photography by Daniel Kordan

Daniel Kordan is an official Nikon ambassador in Russia.

I have been facsinated by the possibilities of photography since my early childhood growing up in the lake region under Moscow.

I graduated the art painting school when I was a kid. After that, I studied in famous Moscow institute of Physics and Technology and became an optics physicist. During the study I gain experience not only in physics, but also in mountain climbing and hiking, guiding tourist groups in winter and in summer in Russian mountains.

Right after graduation I became a guide of photo-workshops and chief editor of “Continent expedition” magazine. This magazine is about travel and adventures all over the world.

I have got several awards in photography: Golden Turtle’ 13 Nature nomination winner, National Geographic Russia contest 2013 finalist, Best of Russia’13 winner, bestphotographer’13 finalist and others.

I have pulications in such magazines as Digital SLR Magazine, UK, Photography week, Photography Master Class, National Geographic, Discovery, Photoworld China, Digital Photo (Bauer Media) magazines. My key clients are Apple, Gazprom, S7 Airlines.
I am spending most of his time in Norway at Lofoten islands and in Tuscany at our villa Gaia, guiding groups from Europe and Russia.

Daniel Agdag Pushes the Limits and Engineers Cardboard into Dreams

Australian cardboard engineer Daniel Agdag creates mouse sized mythical machines out of cardboard and other lightweight materials.  These machines are so complex and yet so fully realized it seems as if they will spring into action at any moment.    Daniel’s newest work looks like it could be a movie set. His work transcends its mundane materials many times over. Thanks Weezbo!
