Zapfina Concept Bike was inspired by the condition of the shifted bones and skeleton of animals and also by the connection between bones and skeleton. Bones and skeleton are the basic structures of the skull of any creature. No matter inside or outside, both bones and skeleton play important roles in any movement, thus, in the course of evolution, the shape and the structure have approached almost perfect states.
This concept bike is one of simple products that can explain the cohesion between structure and muscle to establish a new style of bike. It features different styles in every aspect with unique details to emphasize its functions.
My notion of the basic frame has become “Z” type from the general shape. The structure of this “Z” shape is the nearest shape to the spring. By the pierce on the shell of the bike, the two transitions of the “Z” shape could be flexible then absorb the vibration from the road. More precisely, the “Z” shape can be used as suspension.
Without the front fork, the basic structure is no way like other traditional kinds. When holding the grips to have a motion, the gear inside the frame drives the shaft on the rear of front wheel to make a turn.
The concept of the frame could be delaminated as two layers. Just like the animals, bones and skeleton are used for the most part of strut and muscles play a role to assistance to it. The inside frame is the part of the bones and skeleton, which is used to brace the structure of whole bike, and connected to the shell by the screw points. The shape of the shell comes from the lines of muscles, which promotes the motivation of bones and skeleton, and protect them as well. The curves and angles are in accordance with ergonomics. The frame and the shell are all produced with light equipment. It’s easier and more comfortable for rider by lowering the weight.
Well, it looks like a stylish bike, but with its motion steering wheel system, I’m not sure it would be easy to ride, but then again I’m not an avid cyclist, I’m an avid eater.

At the Belo Horizonte retail location for Brazilian shoe brand Luiza Barcelos, designer Pedro Lazaro has used rocks contained within metal cages to define areas within the store.

For this women’s shoe store, I thought an atmosphere where women feel at home at the same time with a sensual appeal that involves women’s shoes; elements such as curtains, mirrors, chairs and ottomans hand embroidery, fit into a dense architecture where plans of stone and steel screens associated with concrete generate the contrast necessary to translate the desires that women have for shoes.
The same way you feel at home also be sexy, to segment the display of products, these are revealed in surprising ways where theatrical lighting plays a key role in short, the space dialoguing with the desires of the female nature.
This is the first one and I’m working in 5 others stores, whithin the same concept in Rio, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte.
