A swanky refuge for the apocalypse that will cost millions

Radhicka S Saxena:

Judgment day isn't going to be easy for anyone. A house will not be enough to subsist through this warfare, you will need a whole ecosystem at your disposal. Well, this swanky pad with all amenities and luxuries under the sun, will help you survive when the environment gets hostile. In fact, this extravagant pad will be a great a shelter for millionaires, who will not have to give up their lavish lifestyle while they are hiding away in here.

The houses with circular contours are built inside an abandoned missile silo. Each floor encased with a steel and concrete wall will have a condo. The houses are outfitted with all basic facilities like toilets, double sinks, fireplace, open kitchen, breakfast bar, etc. You need not worry about rations as the indoor farms will supply fish as well vegetables to feed around 70 inhabitants. Also, the stockpile of dry goods will last for five years. Windmills, generators and other conventional sources of power will be provided. Humongous underground tanks will store and filter water.

Of course a structure like this should be capable of withstanding war and so the safety features of this one will leave you astounded. The solid concrete walls are nine feet thick and go 53 meters deep under the ground! There will be security outside and on the top floor while cameras will be mounted near a barbed wire fence. In fact, the edifice can even survive atomic blasts and earthquakes. But you won't be worrying about security all the time as the place has recreation spots like pool, library and a movie theater. There will also be a medical center and school inside.

And why just the Armageddon, you can use this house as an asylum during other catastrophes also. This will be a safe retreat if plagues, wars, solar flares, terrorist attacks, riots or an economic meltdown comes about. Moreover, if everything remains hunky dory, then you can use this swell abode as your vacation home. Developer Larry Hall has built the structure in the Kansas prairie region. Some of the condos have already been sold out, so if you are thinking of booking one, you should hurry up.
